Why development assessment?

With the result of a development assessment employees can enhancen their performance and experience more satisfaction in their work. A development assessment offers insight in strenghts, points of development, motivation, growth potential and offers the foundation for a development plan.

It implies an impulse for further personal and professional development for the participant. Often it will result in a starting point from which coaching and training draw to build upon. The enlightening character of the development assessment is emphasized by multiple moments of feedback on the actual day of the assessment.

Approach development assessment

In consultation with the participant and employer the approach of het development assessment is determined. The emphasis lies on the growth potential of the employee, taking short term as well as long term growth into account.

A varied program is composed together, tailored to the questioning. Usually the development assessment consists of pesonality and intelligence tests, through which the working and thinking level of the employee become clear. In addition, simulation exercises are performed and an in-depth interview takes place. The guidance of an AC&T psychologist, who transitions between the role of both expert and coach , ensures a learning and insightful experience for the participant.

To sum up, AC&T gives insight in suitable job profiles, personal strenghts and areas of development using the development assessment. Furthermore a matching coaching style is offered.

After the development assessment a report is generated which provieds a clear view of the results. This report covers a personal profile, points of development and suggestions to enhance development of the employee.
